Noonan Arts becomes our first sponsor!

Poet Don Hall by Peter Noonan

Many thanks to Noonan Arts, this year’s first sponsor of our festival. Peter Noonan is an award-winning magazine illustrator, caricaturist, fine artist and the owner of Noonan Arts design firm.

A Manchester, New Hampshire native, Peter enjoys biking, hiking, Masterpiece Theater and the novels of William Boyd. He was a professional ski instructor for 15 years and has been writing and drawing cartoons about politics since his days on the junior high school newspaper. Peter’s interest in the New Hampshire Primary and Presidential politics dates back to a 1987 campaign rally, when he presented then-Vice President George Bush with a pencil drawing of him; whereupon Bush responded: “Is this supposed to be me?!”.

Peter is still getting over it.

His works are to be found in private and public collections throughout New Hampshire – including the NH State House, Concord – and the United States, as well as numerous publications. He currently has an exhibit at Kimball Jenkins School of Art in Concord.

For the New England Bollywood Festival, Noonan Arts will be doing our graphics, logos and poster designs! You can visit his website here: Noonan Arts

This looks like alot of fun! I am a SRK fan living in Maine. Netflix is my source for Bollywood films. Didn’t know there was anyone in New England that watched movies from India!

Hi Kathryn, you bet there are! We all just watched Netflix though until the Festival came about! And yes, we love SRK as well. We may try to do a screening of Ra.One sometime this year 🙂 Hope to see you at the festival!
